Municipal Conservatory of Larissa and “Musicotropo” Festival invited Athens Philharmonia Orchestra for the second time to perform in the first of the four concerts that took place in Larissa, on 2 February 2019. Staying loyal to the priority to performing works of Greek, and Greek origin, composers, Byron Fidetzis, the art director and first conductor of Athens Philharmonia, chose Nezeritis’ Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in B minor for this concert (soloist: Dimitris Karakantas).
The rest of the program contained emotional pieces, some of them inspired from Greek Mythology (L. Cherubini: Introduction from Opera Médée, etc).
